General Experience

      1. How would you describe your overall experience in Stamford and EUBS?

Studying at Stamford allowed me more time to participate in university events and immerse myself in the vibrant culture of Thailand. It offered a balanced experience where I could enjoy social and extracurricular activities alongside my studies. In contrast, my time at EUBS was marked by an intense academic schedule that demanded much of my time and energy. However, the high-pressure environment was followed by extended holidays, providing an opportunity to recharge and regain focus for the next period of rigorous study. This contrast shaped both my academic resilience and appreciation for diverse cultural experiences.

      2. The reasons that make you choose EUBS?

Initially, my goal was solely to complete a dual degree, but my perspective shifted completely after arriving here. EUBS fosters a diverse environment, offering a rich curriculum and access to excellent educators across a wide range of fields. This inclusive setting provides abundant opportunities for students to showcase their talents, engage with diverse perspectives, and excel in their chosen areas of study. The combination of rigorous academics, exposure to real-world applications, and support from knowledgeable faculty ensures that students can maximize their potential and confidently pursue their professional aspirations. And the international location provides students with more opportunities to participate in a wide range of practical activities to develop and enhance student practical skills.

Academic and career Insight

      3. What is your course in EUBS? and what were the highlights that dual degree offers in EUBS?

EUBS, being a business school, offers a strong focus on business and marketing-related courses. Given its diverse international student body, it also provides specialized courses like international relations and international trade. These courses offer valuable insights into different fields and demonstrate how they can be integrated with core business studies. This multidisciplinary approach creates a rich learning experience, enabling me to apply knowledge from various areas to their major in practical and innovative ways. The highlight of the dual degree program is that it offers more opportunities to explore and understand different areas.

      4. Did Stamford prompt you with anything before going to EUBS?

The Stamford provided a wealth of useful information to guide me. Since this program hasn’t had a large number of students over time, precise and detailed information has been challenging to obtain. However, Stanford consistently strives to keep updates current and relevant. The staff and faculty have been dedicated to coordinating all aspects of the project and ensuring everything is in place for a smooth start to our studies. This support system has been immensely helpful in preparing us effectively for the program.

      5. What specific courses or projects in the Entrepreneurship program had the most impact on you?

During my time at EUBS, specific courses and projects within the Entrepreneurship program significantly impacted me, deepening my understanding and skills. Among these, practical workshops and company visits stood out. For example, the visit to a watch manufacturing company was transformative, providing real-world insight into entrepreneurship. Listening to the founder detail his journey from concept to successful realization illustrated how perseverance, innovation, and meticulous attention to craft can drive business success. This experience, coupled with hands-on projects focused on business development and market strategy, showcased the critical balance between creativity, technical precision, and strategic planning. These opportunities allowed me to learn directly from industry leaders, enhancing my entrepreneurial mindset and refining my problem-solving and leadership abilities in dynamic business contexts.

      6. How has your dual degree education prepared you for your career?

Having more choices and opportunities has sparked deeper reflection on which areas truly interest me. This expanded exposure allows me to explore diverse fields, gain insights, and better align my passions with meaningful pursuits. It encourages me to thoughtfully consider where my strengths and interests intersect, leading to more informed decisions about my future direction.

      7. What are your future career plans?

In the future, I plan to continue my studies, focusing on environmental sustainability. My dedication to this area stems from the growing urgency to address global climate change and environmental degradation, which are closely intertwined with social, economic, and political stability worldwide. As I have witnessed through my experiences, effective environmental policies not only protect natural ecosystems but also promote social equity, economic growth.

Skill and Growth

      8. What skills did you develop during your studies that you believe will benefit your future career?

Communication skills have been a standout aspect of my learning journey. During my studies, I frequently engaged with entrepreneurs from diverse fields, gaining invaluable insights through conversations. These interactions not only expanded my understanding of different industries but also significantly honed my communication abilities. The entrepreneurs I met were generous with their time and expertise, patiently answering my questions, providing thoughtful suggestions, and sharing their industry experiences. This hands-on learning was both inspiring and instrumental in improving my ability to connect, learn, and communicate effectively, making it an unforgettable experience.
